About this course
Information is one of the most important assets of any organisation such as SOS Children’s Villages, therefore, its management and safekeeping is a relevant factor for its actions and the achievement of its objectives.
A security breach can occur at any time. But when it is due to negligence or lack of knowledge of the proper management of information it can have a negative and even catastrophic impact on SOS Children’s Villages. An interruption of organisational routines would be only one of the consequences, as it can cause damage to the reputation of the Organisation and a devaluation of the brand, the loss of public trust, claims and desertion of donors, loss of income, legal actions for damages to third parties, among others.
