Have the possibility to develop, create and integrate their own trainings in the SOSvirtual platform, placing Child and Youth Care professionals at the center of a new digital experience.

The Digital Learning Hub is a global initiative in SOS Children’́s Villages that aims to bring together the Learning & Development frameworks, various existing and new digital learning tools and the learning resources (content) produced within the organization in order to support skill development of Child and Youth Care professionals.

Thanks to digitalization, SOS Children’s Villages is now able to transform the role of their Child and Youth Care professionals, making them become real contributors to the learning and development opportunities they need, not only as consumers, but positioning them at the centre of the learning experience, becoming an active part of their learning process. This way, they will be reliable and competent sources of support for the children, adolescents, young people and families they work with.

In their words…

Here’s what our happy employees had to say about our services:

I consider the contents presented in the course to be very timely and useful. It was selected to strengthen processes that are carried out during the current year. Congratulations for the support and professionalism. I will be pleased and anxious to start the next course. Best regards.

Byron Xitumul, Young people Facilitator, San Jerónimo, Guatemala

ELearning is a continuous process for me and SOSvirtual offered me accessibility to a wide platform of different array of knowledge and skills. In this worldwide knowledge hub, I found & completed different courses that served my career needs directly & indirectly, coming in different languages including Arabic, my mother tongue language, making it a lot easier to use and understand. The courses duration and the way its engaging materials are displayed are very convenient & would be very impactful with different types of learners.

Riham Mahmoud, Head of Fund Development & Communications, Cairo, Egypt

Excellent content, especially the focus on youth. It gave me a lot of knowledge and ideas for my work with young people.

Ingrid Lorena Ortiz Bedoya , Young people Development Facilitator, Cali, Colombia

Thank you for the materials, it enriches the knowledge to be able to give a better accompaniment to each young person. Without any doubt it is a course that every youth counsellor should take as part of their induction and then replicate the contents with the rest of the technical team and direct caregivers. Greetings and a big hug from Morelia, Mexico.
