Welcome to the SOS Children’s Villages Code of Conduct e-course!

In this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Code of Conduct and its importance in promoting a safe and respectful environment for all SOS Children’s Villages members. You will explore the format and content of the Code of Conduct, and learn how to apply its provisions and principles in your daily work. In addition, you will understand how the Code of Conduct is linked to other important SOS Children’s Villages policies and regulations, in particular to the values-based competency framework “Living Our Values”.

Our aim is to provide you with a warm and enjoyable learning experience that will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold the Code of Conduct in your work at SOS Children’s Villages. We hope you find this course informative, interesting and practical.

The certificate you will obtain at the end of the course will certify your participation and that you have passed the required knowledge test. As the Code of Conduct is a necessary element in the profile of all SOS Children’s Villages professionals, don’t forget to share your certificate with your Human Resources department. They will make sure it is part of your personnel file.

To become aware of how the Code of Conduct is used in practice and the importance of the “red lines”.

To understand what measures support the implementation of the Code of Conduct and specifically the link between the Code of Conduct and the values-based competency frame “Living our Values”.

To know how and when to report concerns.
