What will you learn?

The eLearning course will introduce the main aspects you need to know about interacting with young people who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it.

Developed in collaboration with young people and volunteers, your learning journey promises to be highly interactive – with video, audio, animation and activity elements that come together in a dynamic experience!

After taking this course, you will be able to ensure the highest safeguarding standards, be prepared for any challenges you might encounter in your role, and be equipped with tools for virtual facilitation.

For whom we designed it?

This course is customized according to your needs. Because we want to make sure your experience is meaningful but also efficient, we imagined 3 types of learning journeys:

  • For Mentors interacting with young people, who offer career guidance and skills training;
  • For Internship Supervisors, who empower interns to make the most out of their work experience;
  • For SOS Children’s Villages co-workers, who engage with young people, external partners and volunteers.

In each of the 3 learning journeys, you will have access to the entire course! But, depending on your profile, some modules will be mandatory while others will be voluntary. In the end, you decide if you want to stay for the whole journey.
